Collector One

Fair Access Policy

A fairer way to manage selected high-demand products for genuine collectors.

Our approach

At Collector One, we believe collecting should feel exciting, fair and enjoyable. For selected limited, high-demand or allocated products, Collector One may use fair-access measures to help reduce bulk-buying, duplicate purchasing and automated checkout activity.

Purchase limits

Limits may apply per customer, household, order or product.

Duplicate checks

We may review duplicate customer details, addresses or payment patterns.

Manual reviews

Some orders may be checked before they are accepted, charged or dispatched.

Account requirements

Selected launches may require customers to create or use a customer account.

Fair-access measures

For selected limited, high-demand or allocated products, Collector One may use one or more of the following measures:

  • Purchase limits per customer, household or order
  • Duplicate-order checks
  • Manual order reviews
  • Customer account requirements
  • Bot protection or checkout controls
  • Waiting lists
  • Ballots or allocation draws
  • Invitation-only access for selected products
  • Delayed payment capture while orders are reviewed
  • Cancellation of suspicious, duplicate or automated orders
  • Priority communication for genuine customers and mailing list subscribers

Purchase limits

Where purchase limits apply, they will usually be shown on the product page, collection page or during the launch process.

Customers must not attempt to bypass purchase limits by using multiple accounts, names, addresses, payment methods or other details.

If we believe an order has been placed to avoid fair-access rules, we reserve the right to cancel part or all of the order.

Duplicate orders

For selected products, we may review orders for duplicate customer details, delivery addresses, billing information, payment details or other patterns that suggest the same customer is attempting to place multiple orders.

This helps us give more genuine collectors a fair chance to purchase limited products.

Manual reviews

Some orders may be reviewed manually before they are accepted, charged or dispatched.

Manual reviews may be used where a product is limited, heavily allocated, in high demand or where order activity appears unusual.

If we need more information to verify an order, we may contact the customer using the details provided at checkout.

Account requirements

For selected launches, customers may be required to create or use a customer account before purchasing.

This helps us manage purchase limits, reduce duplicate activity and support a fairer launch process.

Invitation-only access

Certain high-demand or limited products may be made available by invitation only. Invitations may be sent to selected customers as part of our fair-access launch process.

Receiving an invitation does not guarantee purchase. Stock may still be limited, purchase windows may apply and orders may remain subject to review.

No guaranteed access

Joining our mailing list, creating an account, completing a Collector Profile, sharing collection content or entering a waiting list does not guarantee access to limited or allocated products.

Where stock is limited, availability may depend on supplier allocation, launch rules, purchase limits and order review outcomes.

Our commitment

We cannot guarantee that every customer will be able to purchase every product, especially where stock is limited. However, we are committed to managing high-demand products in a clear, controlled and collector-first way.
